Based in Japan, Minase is one of a select group of watchmakers worldwide who use the ‘Zaratsu’ polishing method. This method takes a lot of time and dexterity but the ultimate aim is to give the appearance of some angles of the watch being ‘black’ in certain lights. This watch is truly fascinating, the case is a marvel and the dial is quite unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
