Refund policy
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 3 days by email at admin@545.nz advising of your intent for a refund or exchange. Returns will only be accepted if you contact us within 3 days of the carrier delivery date.
We do not accept returns or exchanges if you have changed your mind. If there is a fault with the item, we will do our best to put it right so you can enjoy the timepiece you have selected, or return it for a full refund if necessary.
As our watches are mainly vintage and pre-loved, there may be small imperfections not listed on the site. If you have any queries about the condition of an item, please contact us at admin@545.nz.
Do not return any items without first contacting us. Unless otherwise agreed, if your item is eligible for return, you will be responsible for returning any items in appropriate packaging to our Wellington, New Zealand shop. Shipping and insurance of the item you are returning is your responsibility.
Fivefortyfive Ltd will determine the condition on arrival at its’ sole discretion.
We will notify you once we have received and evaluated your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded via your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
A note to our customers outside of New Zealand any previously incurred customs fees and/or taxes are non-refundable, but can be petitioned through customs if so desired. Any incurred costs on returning your items (including bank and customs fees etc), will be taken off the refunded amount.
All items should be returned to our Wellington, New Zealand shop.
Eligibility
To be eligible for any return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it (i.e. with tags, original packaging etc). Please wrap all items securely, as it is your responsibility to return the goods in the same condition as they were delivered.
New Watches
New watches must be returned in unused condition with all original plastic on the watch, packaging and paperwork. Worn or altered new watches are not eligible to be returned, the return process will be rejected and the watch will be returned back to you.
Please be aware that any attempt to change the strap or bracelet could result in unintentional damage to the watch case that would make it ineligible for return.
Pre-owned watches
Pre-owned watches can be returned exactly as supplied (we have a photographic record). If any supplied paperwork, or accessories, such as – but not limited to – a strap or box is missing - we will reach out to you if we detect any accessories are missing before you are charged.
Other Items
Other unused items may also be returned for full refund or exchange.
EXCEPTIONS/NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. In-store purchases require receipt or proof of purchase. Also we do not accept returns or exchanges if you have simply just changed your mind.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
