The Mido Ocean Star Chronograph Special Edition Ref. M026.627.37.051.00 is a striking blend of bold design and technical performance. Housed in a 44mm stainless steel case coated in black PVD, the watch immediately stands out with its stealthy matte finish and vibrant contrast details. The unidirectional rotating bezel features an orange aluminium insert, adding a burst of colour and reinforcing its deep-sea DNA.

The black dial is both highly legible and purpose-driven, with large luminous markers and hands, orange chronograph accents, and a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock. Protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, the dial is crisp and clear under any conditions. A screw-down crown and chronograph pushers deliver water resistance up to 200 meters, while the integrated black rubber strap ensures a comfortable and secure fit for everyday wear or diving.

WHAT’S INSIDE:

Inside, the watch runs on the Mido Caliber 60 — an automatic chronograph movement based on the Valjoux 7753 — with a robust 60-hour power reserve. In addition to chronograph functionality, it offers a small seconds display at 9 o’clock and a date window at 6. This movement is known for its dependability and is finished with care, viewable through the sapphire exhibition caseback.
