The difference in the blue version is the mood. The blue base dial brings a warmth and depth to the layered decompression scale and world city markings that changes the character of the watch significantly — it reads as more adventurous and less tactical than the black, and the GMT hand cuts through the dial with the same confident legibility while feeling slightly more at home in a casual or travel context.
The bidirectional rotating bezel carries the full 24-hour world city scale, allowing any of the world's major time zones to be read instantly against the red GMT hand.
