WHAT WE LOVE:
My first time trying a Grand Seiko 'Snowflake' was about 7 years ago and I had the attention of a Grand Seiko representative from Japan as I said 'It's a great looking watch but it feels too light to me in the titanium' he gently reminded me that Snowflakes are light by their very nature, duh. This taught me the perfect response to anyone who in the intervening years was trying a Snowflake in front of me and said they felt as though the watch lacked the heft they expected from a premium watch.
This watch is also dubbed the 'Snowflake' but this is more chunk of ice than its better-known sibling. Produced in a very limited run of 350 pieces and in stainless steel, this model has a great wrist presence and all of the heft that most expect from their premium timepieces. The dial has to be seen in order to be fully appreciated and due to the limited nature of this model, I don't know when I'll have a chance to see another.
