Also in that year, you were able to buy an Omega Speedmaster Professional for $175 in Lower Hutt, at your local Omega Dealer. A steep price to pay at the time, adjusted for inflation we are talking about roughly $3000 worth in today's currency, which seems like a relative bargain today.

This Omega Speedmaster, which presents in superb vintage condition was delivered to New Zealand in March 1971, as confirmed by the archive keeping department of Omega. A compelling watch for any vintage Omega collector, or anyone who might have also shared a production date similar to this model.
