Vulcain - 1930 65Y Monopusher Chronograph

WHAT WE LOVE:

The story of this watch is one of family legacy and football, the Grandson of the founder of Vulcain was sent to Spain to learn Spanish so that Vulcain could expand sales into South America. In 1909 he signed with Madrid FC (now Real Madrid FC) and played a few matches with the team. This family connection to the football club lead to the development of a Chronograph that the team coach could use to time practice sessions in 1934.

This is a phenomenally rare watch, very little can be found about these watches outside of their use by Real Madrid. Featuring likely one of the smallest chronograph movements ever produced.
