WHAT WE LOVE:

Tool Watch Co. (TWCO.) is a Los Angeles-based microbrand built around one specific and refreshing premise: watches should be used. The Goodman GMT Utility is a collaboration with Jory Goodman — content creator and watch enthusiast known as The Time Teller — and it carries the brand's "Damage Doctrine" philosophy in every design decision. The dune-toned enamel dial is drawn from the muted earth colours of the Californian desert landscape; the fixed 24-hour graduated bezel is brushed and practical rather than rotating and decorative; the FKM rubber strap is built to be worn, not displayed.

WHAT'S INSIDE:

The Goodman GMT Utility is powered by the Miyota 9075 — a 24-jewel True GMT automatic movement with stop-seconds hacking function, hand-wind capability, and a jumping local hour hand that advances independently in one-hour steps. 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve. The 40mm brushed 316L stainless steel case measures 12.4mm thick, 48mm lug-to-lug, with a 7mm screw-down crown and 100-metre water resistance.
