WHAT WE LOVE:
The TAG Heuer Link is one of the brand's most design-driven references — and in two-tone steel and solid 18K yellow gold, it is the Link at its most fully realised. This is not a case where gold accents are applied lightly: the bezel, crown, chronograph pushers, and alternating bracelet links are all solid 18K yellow gold.
The Link was introduced in 1987 and defined by its S-curve case and bracelet — a series of smooth, continuous curves that give the watch an almost fluid architecture. The curved case flanks flow into the bracelet without the abrupt transition typical of a lug-and-strap construction. On wrist it wraps and moves naturally, and in the two-tone configuration the polished steel and gold surfaces interact with light at every angle in a way that the all-steel version simply cannot achieve.
The silver dial carries three white sub-dials against the silver background — floating cleanly, each one clearly differentiated — with yellow gold index markers and luminous hands that maintain legibility while reinforcing the warmth of the gold-heavy case and bracelet. The date at 3 o'clock sits within the standard chronograph layout without interrupting it. At 41mm the Link Chronograph is a substantial presence, but the curved case and integrated bracelet distribute the weight so naturally that it wears lighter than a conventional 42mm watch on a strap.
WHAT’S INSIDE:
The CJF2150 is powered by TAG Heuer's Calibre 16 — an automatic chronograph movement based on the ETA 7750 architecture, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour across 25 jewels with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours.
