WHAT WE LOVE:
This Omega x Swatch Moonswatch 'Desert' was recently released on the 15th of June, and may be among some of the first available here in New Zealand.
Truly distinctive with its Bioceramic case, crown, and pushers in a muted sand colour, complemented by a grey velcro strap highlighted by sand stitching. Sand colour hands grace the dial, while recessed sub dials feature sand rings and Arabic numerals in a radial layout, paying homage to the Speedmaster Alaska II and III projects.
A sand colour tachymeter scale adorns the grey bezel, and all dials in the collection proudly display the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo, and MoonSwatch logo. The watch's design is unified across all models with biosourced glass in a box shape, an etched "S" at the centre, a sophisticated circular pattern on the dial's outer ring and sub dials, angular and smooth lugs, and the iconic "dot over 90" detail on the tachymeter scale. The Bioceramic material gives each watch a unique tactile feel.
For visibility in low light, the hour markers, minute hand, and tip of the chronograph seconds hand glow with Super-LumiNova® in green emission, ensuring a clear and luminous display even in the dark.
