Sinn is known for producing high-quality, functional, and durable timepieces designed with professionals in mind, such as pilots, divers, and military personnel. The EZM1 model, in particular, is part of Sinn's "Einsatzzeitmesser" (EZM) series, which translates to "Mission Timers" in English. These watches are specially designed for use in demanding environments and critical missions.

The Sinn EZM1 is a chronograph watch that was initially developed in the 1990s for the German Federal Customs Service's special forces unit, the ZUZ (Zentrale Unterstützungsgruppe Zoll). The EZM1 features a distinctive design, with a highly legible dial, a robust case, and a focus on functionality.

This example is just back from full factory service. Discontinued in 2004, this limited edition model was released in 2008 using the last batch of movements Sinn had.
