Released as a limited edition of just 300 pieces, the Sinn 856 UTC CX 747 pays tribute to a decommissioned Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400 (registration VR-HOP). 747 pieces were made with a clean and technical design that speaks to Sinn’s aviation roots. The watch features a matte black dial with stark white Arabic numerals and an accented 24-hour hand for dual-time functionality — a nod to cockpit instrumentation.
The UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) complication allows for simultaneous reading of two time zones, a practical and essential tool for pilots and frequent travellers.
The bead-blasted stainless steel case is made with Sinn’s proprietary Tegiment technology, increasing scratch resistance considerably. It’s also equipped with Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, enhancing functional reliability and preventing fogging. Rugged yet refined, this is a no-nonsense tool watch with genuine aerospace DNA.
