Funny story with this one, after advertising the Seiko Braille watch I became interested in the other watches that Seiko had made for the visually impaired. This model was the immediate successor to the braille watch, and had a huge innovation over the previous model, if you press the button in the middle of the case the watch would read you the time. A very clever solution for the visually impaired, I’m sure you would agree.

I was very pleased to find this new old stock example, and when it arrived it had a surprise for me that I should have at least anticipated. This watch, made in Japan, and sold in Japan, speaks Japanese.
