WHAT WE LOVE:
The 110th Anniversary release for Seiko's birthday in 2023 did not disappoint, releasing the Save the Ocean Limited Edition, described as a true dive GMT. Limited to 4000 pieces, Seiko clearly brings out the big guns for their happy day, supporting all functions with a lovely new movement, Seiko 6R54. This movement gives the watch a 72-hour power reserve, indicated by the '3 Days' on the dial, and an independent GMT function, meaning it can be separately adjusted on the crown to match the 24 hour scale on the dial.
This truly is a timekeeping watch, but that does not limit its other functions. The GMT Divers sports a 200m water resistance, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a big old bezel for precise keeping and masculine style, an original stainless steel bracelet and original NATO, applied indexes and Lumi Brite on its hands and markers.
Seiko did not cheap on the features, offering the world a taste of what they can bring to the party, especially on their birthday!
