The Seiko Prospex Marinemaster 1965 Heritage Diver SJE101 is a refined reinterpretation of Seiko's legendary 1965 dive watch, blending vintage inspiration with contemporary craftsmanship. Its black dial features a distinctive horizontal stripe texture that adds depth and character beneath the box shaped sapphire crystal with an anti reflective coating on the inner surface. Rectangular baton hands and applied indices echo the original 62MAS design, while generous LumiBrite on the hands, indices, and bezel ensures outstanding legibility in all conditions. Every detail is meticulously finished, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces that create a striking visual presence.

The 39.5mm stainless steel case delivers exceptional wearability, offering a slimmer and more compact profile while retaining the robust character expected of the Marinemaster name. Crisp transitions between brushed and polished finishes showcase Seiko's impressive attention to detail, while the classic crown at 3 o'clock gives the watch a balanced, contemporary appearance. A unidirectional diving bezel and 200m water resistance make it equally capable beneath the surface as it is on the wrist.

Completing the watch is a solid stainless steel bracelet secured by a three fold clasp with a secure lock, push button release, and diving extender for added versatility. The SJE101 also marks a milestone as the first Seiko dive watch to feature an exhibition case back, allowing a view of the movement while maintaining the robust construction and refined finishing expected from the Marinemaster collection.

Additional functions include a stop seconds hand function.
