Enamel is a very difficult material to work with, which makes its use in watch dials very exclusive, normally reserved for dress watches from the likes of Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet. Seiko decided to democratise this, and introduced a line of enamel dial presage models.
