WHAT WE LOVE:
A modern tribute to one of Seiko's most distinctive chronographs, the Prospex Speedtimer Pogue Solar draws inspiration from the watch famously associated with Colonel William Pogue in the 1970s. Its vivid combination of yellow, black, blue and red remains faithful to the original, while the sleek contemporary case gives the 2026 edition a more refined character that transitions effortlessly between casual and dressed occasions.
The 41.4 mm stainless steel case is paired with a curved sapphire crystal and anti reflective coating, offering a clear view of the striking dial. LumiBrite on the hands and indexes enhances visibility, while the distinctive trio of sub dials adds a modern interpretation to the design, including the memorable red hand on the 6 o'clock sub dial.
A stainless steel bracelet completes the look, secured by a three fold clasp with push button release and 21 mm lug spacing. With 10 bar water resistance, a date display, power reserve indicator and a chronograph capable of measuring up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments, this Speedtimer combines unmistakable heritage with contemporary practicality.
WHAT’S INSIDE:
The watch is powered by Seiko's V192 solar chronograph movement, which charges using both natural and artificial light. It offers precision of ±15 seconds per month and approximately 6 months of operating time when fully charged. The movement features an overcharge prevention function, 24 hour hand, small seconds hand, power reserve indicator and date display, delivering reliable and convenient performance for everyday wear.
