WHAT WE LOVE:

The Seiko King Seiko KSK SJE105 celebrates the enduring design of the original 1965 KSK while introducing a distinctive expression inspired by Japanese heritage. Its richly textured dial features a turtle shell pattern that symbolises King Seiko's roots in Kameido, while the deep blue colour draws inspiration from the flowing Sumida River. Applied hour markers are brushed on the surface and polished along the sides, creating exceptional depth, while the signature knurled 12 o'clock marker remains a defining King Seiko detail. The beautifully finished hands feature brushed tops with polished bevelled edges, completing a dial that is both refined and visually captivating.

The 38.6mm stainless steel case retains the signature faceted lugs and flat flanks of the original KSK, now presented in contemporary proportions for exceptional comfort and everyday wear. Sharp angular lines are enhanced by a combination of brushed and polished surfaces, showcasing the precise finishing that defines the King Seiko collection. A box shaped sapphire crystal with an anti reflective coating on the inner surface preserves the vintage inspired profile while ensuring excellent clarity. With 5 bar water resistance, the SJE105 balances elegant styling with everyday practicality.

Completing the watch is a beautifully executed seven link stainless steel bracelet that combines exceptional comfort with a striking architectural appearance. Inspired by the classic beads of rice style, its brushed rectangular centre links are paired with faceted outer links, creating a refined interplay of textures that perfectly complements the sharp case design. A signed deployment butterfly clasp with push button release provides a secure, seamless finish, enhancing both comfort and the watch's refined presentation.

Powering the King Seiko KSK SJE105 is the Seiko Caliber 6L35 automatic movement with manual winding capability. It delivers an accuracy of +15 to ,10 seconds per day, offers an approximate 45 hour power reserve, and features 26 jewels. Additional functions include a stop seconds hand function for precise time setting and a date display.
