As the contemporary watch world obsesses over mechanical watches rated to withstand pressures surpassing those at Challenger Deep, we reckon Seiko's divers got it right in the 90's. This 1999 M796 is less a watch than it is an all-purpose dive computer and its digital module includes (but is certainly not limited to) a depth gauge that records a dive profile, water temperature, several alarm modes, and stopwatch. An excellent tool for life above and below the waves.
