The Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126720VTNR breaks new ground in both form and function, making it one of the most talked-about modern Rolex releases in years. Nicknamed the “Sprite” for its striking green and black Cerachrom bezel, it’s also the first left-handed (“destro”) configuration GMT ever released by Rolex — a bold move that adds both uniqueness and collectibility.
Crafted in Oystersteel with a 40mm case, the Sprite retains the classic dimensions and functionality of the GMT-Master II line. However, key features are reversed: the crown and crown guards are placed on the left side, and the date window is now at 9 o’clock. This layout is not only a nod to left-handed wearers but a deliberate design choice that gives this model a distinctive wrist presence and collector appeal. This example comes on the Oyster bracelet making it an excellent daily driver. Complete set with its box, papers, white swing tag and has many factory stickers still in tact.
