WHAT WE LOVE:

This limited edition Panerai is a modern update of one of the brand's most infamous watches, the reference 3646 which was a watch made exclusively for military purposes in the second world war for the Italian Royal Navy. This modern reinterpretation is the same size as its historical fore-bearer and also uses a manually wound movement to pay respects to the Rolex pocket watch movement that was used in the original.

With an 'anonimo' dial that disguises the manufacturer, this is unusual but also matches the original model which did not reveal the origin of the watch if the wearer was captured or killed.

This is a watch made for Panerai enthusiasts and as such was produced in a run of 1000 pieces coming with special documentation, a book on the Italian Royal Navy, and a special collectors case.
