WHAT WE LOVE:

A well-known name amongst microbrand enthusiasts both locally and abroad, the New Zealand-based brand Draken takes inspiration from the tool watches of yesteryear and the founder's home country of South Africa. The Aoraki we have here, Draken's first New Zealand-assembled model, not only makes for an excellent field watch but also stands out with red accents only made for this very limited run in collaboration with our favourite NZ watch collecting group, Redbar.

WHAT'S INSIDE:

This Aoraki is powered by the Miyota 82S5, a very robust automatic produced by the Citizen group in Japan since the early 1970s and featured in countless microbrand models. It features a small second subdial at 6, hacking, hand-winding, and a 42-hour power reserve.
