The dial showcases Draken’s unique approach to depth and texture, constructed with bead-blasted steel elements layered over a sandwich base for a look that feels industrial yet refined. As night falls, the Benguela shines, literally, thanks to heavy applications of X1-Old Radium Swiss Super-LumiNova, even extending to the custom luminous date wheel. The caseback is a work of art, engraved with a sea monster inspired by the South African myth of the Paper Nautilus, a nod to folklore that adds a rich layer of storytelling to this already compelling piece.
The 120-click unidirectional bezel delivers precise, tactile feedback, with a luminous pip at 12 o’clock for tracking dive time even in the darkest depths.
