WHAT WE LOVE:
There are very few colours in watchmaking with the history that Doxa's orange carries. When the original SUB 300 was introduced in 1967, the orange dial — christened "Professional" — was chosen specifically because orange provides the greatest contrast and visibility underwater. It was a functional decision, not a design one, and it made the orange Doxa one of the most immediately recognisable dive watches in the world.
At 39mm, the 200T sits closer, lighter, and more discreetly, without conceding any of the design language that defines the range. The bezel still carries Doxa's patented No Deco table — a US Navy no-decompression limit reference engraved directly into the insert, a feature that no other production dive watch replicates. The case at 10.70mm is genuinely slim for a 200-metre-rated diver. The beads-of-rice bracelet is the right choice for this watch. The interlocking oval links have been a Doxa signature since the 1970s and are responsible for much of the watch's visual identity beyond the dial.
WHAT’S INSIDE:
The SUB 200T Professional is powered by a Swiss automatic movement — reliable, self-winding, and entirely appropriate for a watch built around daily wear and active use. The screw-down crown and solid caseback contribute to a water resistance rating of 200 metres — twice the depth that most recreational divers will ever reach, and a meaningful safety margin for anyone using this as a working dive instrument.
