The flags are not decorative approximations — they are the actual International Maritime Signal Code pennants used for ship-to-ship communication at sea, and each one corresponds to a number from 1 to 12. It is a dial concept with genuine sailing world provenance that has remained compelling for sixty-five years because the flags create a visual language that is simultaneously functional and entirely specific.

The dodecagonal (twelve-sided) case of the Admiral Legend 47 references the twelve pennants and the twelve hours directly, reinforcing the dial's maritime geometry through the case shape itself. At 47mm in brushed titanium Grade 2, the watch has a commanding presence without the weight that a steel case of the same dimension would carry — titanium at this size sits against the wrist with considerably more comfort than the measurement alone suggests.
