Citizen - 1970s ‘Challenge Diver’

WHAT WE LOVE:

I can't believe this model hadn't been on my radar before now. A very credible alternative to a vintage Seiko diver for sure but this model has so much more going for it than just being a mere ‘alternative'. Consider for a start, the size, at 40MM this Citizen wears in a very modern way but then note all the great vintage details, the great blocky indices and the beautifully faded bezel insert.
