Alsta -1960's Nautoscaph

WHAT WE LOVE:

This the brother to one of the most famous dive watches ever brought to the silver screen, an Alsta Nautoscaph was famously worn by Richard Dreyfuss in the 1975 film 'Jaws'. It can be said that if a costume designer had opted for literally any other watch, then Alsta would have fallen into an obscurity so severe that these cool vintage skindivers would be a minor footnote in history. Fortunately that isn't the case and these watches have enjoyed a 'back from the death' revival since the brand was reintroduced in 2017.

This vintage example dates to the late 1960's and presents in excellent condition for its age.
