Bape - Type 1 'Bapex' ABC Camo

WHAT WE LOVE:

The name "A Bathing Ape" is derived from the Japanese idiom "a bathing ape in lukewarm water," which refers to overindulgence. It's a commentary on the relaxed Japanese youth and their approach to fashion and lifestyle.

Bape have been known for many great designs, but some of the brands most iconic are where the brand has flirted with outright plagiarism. Their Bapesta sneaker were very reminiscent of the Nike Air Force 1 and the brands line of watches known as 'Bapex', took liberal inspiration from a well known Swiss Brand.

This example features an all over camo print, another hallmark of the brand and presents in excellent unworn condition.
