WHAT WE LOVE:

The TAG Heuer Carrera CV2113-0 is a beautifully considered modern interpretation of the legendary Carrera 2447 from 1963, originally reissued in 2005 at 39mm. Its defining feature is the domed sapphire box crystal, designed to recreate the distinctive optical character of the original hesalite crystal. The pronounced dome gives the dial an elevated appearance, with the sub registers appearing to sit deeper within the composition, creating exceptional visual depth.

The black dial is the more resolved of the two available configurations, with three silver ringed Daytona registers, a 30 minute counter at 9, a 60 second register at 3, and a 12 hour counter at 6, each with its own graduated scale. Faceted applied indices and the period correct automatic text add to its vintage character. Diamond polished angled lugs complete the 39mm case, while the absence of a date window keeps the dial clean and faithful to the original Carrera aesthetic. Presented with its original box and papers from 2008.

The CV2113-0 is powered by TAG Heuer Calibre 17, based on the ETA 2894 2 automatic chronograph movement. It features 25 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
