Crafted in stainless steel with a super hard coating, the 39.5mm case offers a balanced wrist presence that feels robust yet refined. Its crisp matte silver white dial, reminiscent of cool stone, is striking in its clarity and understated charm. The applied black hour indices contrast beautifully against the pale dial, ensuring sharp legibility while lending the watch a composed, modern aesthetic.
Around the outer edge of the dial lies a fully hashed minute track bordered by a black countdown timer bezel, a subtle nod to the Speedtimer’s motorsport lineage. The countdown scale, with its final fifteen minutes highlighted in orange, finds a perfect echo in the orange-tipped central seconds hand, adding just the right amount of colour and visual energy. At the 4:30 position, the date window nestles quietly into the dial, thoughtfully integrated without disturbing the symmetry of the layout.
The hands are filled with Seiko’s LumiBrite for excellent low-light visibility, and each hour marker is topped with a circular luminous pip for night-time clarity. The sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective inner coating ensures the dial always reads clean and sharp, free from distracting glare.
