The watch features a 41.4mm stainless steel case with a dynamic blend of brushed and polished surfaces, giving it a robust yet refined appeal. With a thickness of 13mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45.9mm, it wears comfortably and confidently, offering excellent proportions for daily use or special occasions. The curved sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, provides a clear, distortion-free view of the dial, while the screw case back ensures durability and water resistance up to 10 bar.
The dial is finished in deep black, punctuated by luminous hands and indexes coated with LumiBrite for high legibility in all lighting conditions. Contrasting sub-dials and a bright red chronograph seconds hand add a touch of motorsport energy, paying homage to the legendary red-and-black livery of the 240Z. A tachymeter bezel frames the dial, enhancing the chronograph's racing credentials while giving the watch a dynamic edge. This highly accurate movement operates within ±15 seconds per month and features a power reserve of approximately 6 months when fully charged. It includes a 24-hour hand, a small seconds display, and a chronograph function capable of measuring up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments. Additional features such as a power reserve indicator, date display, and overcharge prevention reflect Seiko’s commitment to precision and longevity, making this chronograph as technically compelling as it is visually striking.
