One of the reasons to love Oris is their penchant for creating bizarre yet super cool watch complications, such as their mechanical Altimeter or Depth Gauge pieces. This Flight Timer, dedicated to a specific WWII-era Hawker Hurricane fighter plane, may not be quite as advanced as the aforementioned pieces, but it is a fun alternative to a conventional internal bezel crown.

This Oris Flight Timer is powered by a lightly modified Valjoux 7750, an iconic Swiss chronograph movement first introduced in 1973 and has since gained a reputation for ease of use and reliability. This calibre beats at 28800 beats per hour and has a power reserve of around 48 hours.
