WHAT WE LOVE:
Hardly likely to have been a big seller for Heuer at its time of introduction, the cleverly named Heuer Calculator features an enormous slide rule bezel covering most of the face of the watch. The slide rule is designed to measure distance and also convert weight and volume from the imperial to the metric system and vice versa. The watch was designed to cater to a very small group of people, namely Pilots and it would have been competing with the far more well known Breitling Navitimer. Nonetheless, this is a fascinating watch that is seldom seen. This example is in such excellent condition, with only light wear to its unpolished case and only very slight discolouration to the dial.
