This limited edition of 2,500 pieces captures the quiet strength of Grand Seiko’s design language — and expresses it through meticulous finishing, symmetry, and a dial that’s rich in detail.
The 40mm stainless steel case features Grand Seiko’s hallmark Zaratsu polishing, producing distortion-free mirror surfaces alongside satin-brushed contrasts. The ice blue dial has a unique “twisted sunray” texture, shifting beautifully under light — a signature detail that distinguishes Grand Seiko’s anniversary pieces.
At 6 o’clock, a discreet gold star signifies that this is a “Special” quartz, indicating enhanced precision. The applied indices, razor-sharp dauphine hands, and framed date window are executed with Grand Seiko’s trademark precision.

Inside is the Grand Seiko Caliber 9F85, a high-accuracy quartz movement adjusted to an astonishing ±5 seconds per year. It features backlash auto-adjustment for the seconds hand, instant date change, temperature compensation, and independent hour hand adjustment — offering the convenience of quartz with the refinement and finishing usually reserved for high-end mechanicals.
