It would take Grand Seiko 5 decades to make a Chronograph but don't ascribe this to laziness or oversight, Grand Seiko is one of the most calculated watch manufacturers out there and when they did release a Chronograph, they knew it would have to be special. They managed to incorporate into their excellent spring drive platform, a chronograph, GMT, power reserve and date into a wearable and readable dial.
