WHAT WE LOVE:
This recently released watch is limited to 157 pieces, this one being number 150, celebrating Canada’s 157th anniversary.
During Marathon's history supporting Allied Forces, some contracts barred branding on timepieces. To affirm their Canadian origin, Marathon inscribed "ADANAC" on these watches—Canada spelled backwards. Models with this marking are now highly coveted collector's items.
Its stark white dial features a striking Red Maple Leaf appliqué, honouring Canadian military legacy. Each watch is uniquely serialized and engraved with Marathon's historic ADANAC branding, symbolizing Canadian pride and resilience.
Engineered for Search And Rescue (SAR) operations, it boasts a robust stainless steel case with a brushed finish, knurled screw-down crown, oversized unidirectional 60-minute dive bezel, and a 3-piece Rubber Strap Kit, also manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the strap kit is crafted from FKM Rubber to meet the requirements of high-performance military applications. The 3-Piece Kit comes with one (6 o'clock) tailpiece with 8 adjustment holes, and two (12 o'clock) buckle pieces of different sizing. This watch exemplifies Canadian craftsmanship and functionality.
