This 1978 example features a sought-after MKI “feet first” dial — the earliest variant with bold open 6s and 9s — paired with a ghosting MKIII bezel insert that’s starting to fade beautifully. The pip has been professionally relumed to match. It comes on a correct 93150 Submariner bracelet, completing the period look. With its original box and papers, this is a fantastic vintage set for any collector seeking authenticity and charm in equal measure.
The 40mm stainless steel case features a thick acrylic crystal, unidirectional bezel, and screw-down Triplock crown, offering 200m of water resistance when new. This reference is fitted with a 93150 Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp and 580 endlinks.
