WHAT WE LOVE:
The Oris TT1 Diver is one of the most honest Swiss dive watches ever made — and that honesty is precisely what has sustained its following for well over a decade. In a market saturated with watches that borrow heavily from the Submariner template, the TT1 took a different path: a rounded, barrel-shaped case that is entirely its own, a bracelet integrated so seamlessly into the case that the two read as a single flowing form.
The 44mm stainless steel case wears more compactly than its dimensions suggest. The case flanks curve inward before meeting the integrated bracelet, creating a narrower effective width at the wrist and a comfortable, locked-in fit that is difficult to replicate on a watch with standard lugs.
The exhibition caseback is one of the TT1's most rewarding details. The red rotor — a signature of Oris automatic movements — is immediately recognisable and adds a visual energy to what is otherwise a robustly functional reverse.
