The vertically brushed dial carries the design vocabulary of the 1957 original with careful fidelity: recessed hour markers filled with "vintage" Super-LumiNova in a warm, slightly cream tone rather than the cold white of conventional modern lume; brushed steel hands that reflect light with a matte directional quality; and the "Railmaster" transfer in beige at the lower register — a typographic choice that connects directly to the original's period design language.
