WHAT WE LOVE:

The SSNAV-D Blue Yonder is a limited edition pilot’s watch that celebrates the legacy of the U.S. Air Force, drawing its name from the opening line of their official song, “Off we go into the wild blue yonder.” It’s the first Steel Navigator to feature a matching blue dial and bezel, delivering a bold aesthetic while staying true to Marathon’s rugged, mission-ready design. The 41mm case is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with enhanced lug tapering for all-day comfort, and is paired with a bi-directional 12-hour bezel featuring raised grip and inset painted indices for use even with flight gloves.

The dial is outfitted with self illuminating tritium gas tubes on the hour markers and hands, ensuring constant low-light readability without the need for charging. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial while withstanding the rapid pressure changes experienced during high-altitude flights. With a water resistance of 10ATM and a screw-down crown, the Blue Yonder is as capable on the ground as it is in the sky. It comes complete with a colour matched blue FKM rubber strap kit and a coordinating travel pouch, making it as functional as it is collectible.

Powering the Blue Yonder is the ETA F06.412 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive quartz movement, engineered for extreme accuracy at ±10 seconds per year. This three-jewel movement includes a date complication and is built to deliver reliable, high-performance timekeeping in even the most demanding environments.
