The "Le Petit Prince" aspect of the watch is derived from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s novel, published 75 years ago, The Little Prince. Saint-Exupéry was a well known French author and aviator that disappeared on a reconnaissance mission in 1943. This book is translated into 300 official languages and has sold over 200 million copies (14 million in France).
