Seiko - 1969 'Skyliner'

WHAT WE LOVE:

During the 1960s and 1970s, Seiko embarked on a project known as the Skyliner range, which was positioned just below the prestigious Grand Seiko and King Seiko lines. The Skyliner was aimed at the everyday consumer, much like Seiko's other collections, such as Sportsmatic, Lord Marvel, and Lord Matic.

The renowned Suwa factory, established by Seiko to promote competition and innovation, produced the Skyliner series. At the time, the factory was also involved in the development of the esteemed Grand Seiko line.
