Its breathtaking Arita porcelain dial is finished in a rich cobalt blue glaze inspired by the iconic Seiko Blue, a signature colour that has represented the brand since the 1960s. The intricate radiating pattern at the centre enhances the remarkable depth and transparency of the porcelain, while the carefully sculpted raised and recessed surfaces create an elegant play of light that showcases the exceptional craftsmanship behind every dial.
The newly developed stainless steel case with Seiko's super hard coating measures 39.6mm, perfectly framing the dimensional porcelain dial with a refined and balanced profile. A dual curved sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating on the inner surface provides outstanding clarity, while the premium cow leather strap, crafted using leather sourced from Leather Working Group certified tanneries, is secured with a three fold clasp featuring a push button release for everyday comfort. With 100m water resistance, this limited edition combines timeless elegance with modern practicality.
Every dial is meticulously handcrafted under the supervision of Arita porcelain master craftsman Hiroyuki Hashiguchi by Toshiaki Kawaguchi and his team at a historic Arita manufacturer dating back to 1830. The result is a sophisticated collector's piece that celebrates Japanese artistry, traditional craftsmanship, and Seiko's enduring heritage.
WHAT'S INSIDE:
Powering the watch is the Seiko Caliber 6R51, an automatic movement with manual winding capability. It offers approximately 72 hours, or 3 days, of power reserve and features 24 jewels. The movement includes a stop second hand function for precise time setting, with Seiko rating the accuracy at +25 to, 15 seconds per day.
