WHAT WE LOVE:
The Seiko Spirit SCVS001 is a notably rare and sought after Japan only model from around 2010, produced before the now iconic SARB collection became widely known. Its discontinued status and considerably lower availability make it an especially intriguing piece for collectors seeking something beyond the familiar Seiko references. The 38mm case offers beautifully balanced proportions, complemented by a 20mm lug width and 100m water resistance.
The dial is the defining feature, finished in a warm sunburst buttery cream that reveals subtle changes in tone as it catches the light. Gold toned hands, applied logo, elegant indices and date framing bring a refined touch, while lume at the tips of the indices adds practicality. The printed minutes and seconds track sits directly on the dial, creating a clean and harmonious presentation.
Completing the design is the distinctive bracelet, combining polished beads of rice with brushed sections for an appealing contrast of textures, finished with a signed clasp.
