Zelos was founded in Singapore in 2014 by Elshan Tang, and in a little over a decade has built one of the most genuinely enthusiastic and loyal followings in the microbrand dive watch space. The brand's consistent formula — unusual materials, strong specifications, limited runs, and a willingness to take design risks that larger brands cannot — has produced a catalogue of watches that consistently overdeliver at their price points. The Blacktip Ti-Frost is the clearest expression of what that formula produces when the stars align.
The Ti-Frost concept is simple and executed brilliantly. The entire dial background is white — a full reverse lume application means the white surface you are looking at in daylight is in fact a solid coat of Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9, applied to the dial background itself rather than just the markers and hands. In darkness, the entire dial glows an icy, luminous cyan blue. It is one of the most dramatic and genuinely useful lume effects available at any price point in the dive watch category, and the Ti-Frost is the watch that delivers it most comprehensively. The sapphire bezel insert is treated identically — fully BGW9 filled, glowing the same cyan blue in low light as the dial below it. Limited to 300 individually numbered pieces.

The Blacktip Ti-Frost is powered by the Miyota Calibre 9015 — a 24-jewel Japanese automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 42 hours, featuring Parashock anti-shock protection, hacking seconds, and hand-wind capability. The 9015 is one of the most widely specified automatic movements in the microbrand world, valued for its reliability, accuracy, and ease of servicing. Zelos fits a custom colour-matched date wheel at 6 o'clock — a small detail, but one that demonstrates the level of attention applied to the whole package.
