The Seiko S23159J5 is a beautifully considered timepiece created with independence, accessibility, and timeless design at its heart. Part of Seiko's Braille collection, a legacy that began in 1939 with the brand's first pocket watch for the visually impaired, it continues a tradition of thoughtful watchmaking that has endured for generations.
The grey dial features raised hour markers and raised hour and minute hands, allowing the time to be read by touch. The markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock are more pronounced for easy orientation. Its hinged acrylic crystal opens upwards with a simple gesture, providing direct access to the tactile dial while maintaining the appearance of a conventional watch when closed.
The silver coloured metal case measures 35mm, offering a refined and versatile presence on the wrist. A black leather strap completes the design, secured by a push button deployment buckle that is designed for easy handling.
