The TAG Heuer Monaco Ref. CAW211R.FC6401 is a vibrant tribute to one of motorsport’s most iconic liveries — Gulf Racing. This special edition pairs the square-case legacy of the Monaco with the unmistakable powder blue and orange stripes made famous on race cars of the 1960s and ’70s, most notably by Steve McQueen in Le Mans.

The 39mm stainless steel case retains the classic Monaco silhouette — bold, square, and instantly recognisable. A domed sapphire crystal adds vintage charm while protecting the Gulf-themed dial, which features sunray finishing, dual blue tones, and orange highlights across the chronograph hands and minute track. The polished pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock retain their original placement, staying true to the Monaco's heritage design.

Fitted on a perforated blue calfskin rally strap with orange stitching, this watch captures the spirit of motorsport both aesthetically and mechanically.

WHAT’S INSIDE:

Powering the watch is TAG Heuer’s Calibre 11 — a modern take on the historic left-crown chronograph layout. This automatic movement features a 40-hour power reserve and offers a quickset date at 6 o’clock, along with chronograph functionality via a two-register layout: small seconds at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute totaliser at 9 o’clock. The caseback features a sapphire exhibition window, showcasing the movement and the engraved Gulf Edition designation.
