Stowa has been making Flieger watches since the post-war era, and few brands carry the right to produce a pilot's watch with quite the same historical authority. 

The 36mm bronze case is the first thing that sets this watch apart. It occupies a size that demands a certain confidence — one that rewards the wearer who understands that the original Baumuster B observation watches of the 1940s were built for legibility and precision, not display. On the wrist it feels exact, considered, and immediately personal. The bronze case finish — elaborately handcrafted — develops a patina unique to each owner over time.

The "Vintage" designation refers to the dial treatment: the luminous material is finished in Old-Radium colour — a creamy, warm tone that replicates the aged patina of genuine radium lume from the mid-twentieth century, without the radioactivity. The effect is extraordinary. Even from across a room the dial reads as genuinely aged, and the contrast between the Old-Radium fill and the deep bronze case is one of the most evocative combinations in the pilot watch category. The large central Arabic numerals, simple triangular indices, and absence of a date window result in a dial that is pure Flieger.
