WHAT’S INSIDE:
Beating at the heart of this iconic watch is the Omega calibre 911, which was based on the Omega calibre 861. It added a small seconds subdial at 9:00 which replaced the Omega calibre 910’s 24-hour / AM/PM subdial that was originally in the earlier models of the Flightmaster. This change allowed wearers to see that the watch was operating without having to engage the chronograph. The Omega calibre 911 is an exclusive movement that is only used in the Omega Flightmaster.
