Nicknamed the “Sprite” for its striking green and black Cerachrom bezel, it’s also the first left-handed (“destro”) configuration GMT ever released by Rolex — a bold move that adds both uniqueness and collectibility.
Crafted in Oystersteel with a 40mm case, the Sprite retains the classic dimensions and functionality of the GMT-Master II line. However, key features are reversed: the crown and crown guards are placed on the left side, and the date window is now at 9 o’clock. This layout is not only a nod to left-handed wearers but a deliberate design choice that gives this model a distinctive wrist presence and collector appeal.
